"JASPER".... another Happy Tails story for a lovable little guy.
Today Jasper has a new home.  He was rescued recently from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter recently by a rescue worker with Yorkshire Terrier Rescue Network. He had been left at the front door in the dead of night in a kennel with chemical burns on most of the underside of his body and legs. He skin was raw and bleeding and he was in great pain. Yet, when the rescue worker opened his kennel, all he wanted to do was give love and kisses. It is believed he had fertilizer burns or lime burns that someone either didn’t know how to treat or have the money to treat. Thanks to the weeks of love and attention given to little Jasper by YTRN vets and a wonderful foster home, he has healed, is growing hair back on his legs and his belly, and is now a happy boy full of energy and lots of new tricks. He learned that love and dedication on the part of rescue people who care can make dogs who were throw-away animals a special part of someone's life. A special THANKS to all who were a part of Jasper's rehabilitation!
